Daisy #1

And so begins a study of daisies. I am still in a black & white mood so I will start off with a couple of those. Maybe because while I was figuring out where to begin, I was listening to/watching Gotan Project - Santa Maria. A fun little tango and cool b&w video. I also like their song La Del Ruso.

I've always liked daisies. They make me smile. They seem like a cheery flower. But when you look at them up close, they become their own tiny landscape. You see they are really intricate and a whole universe unto themselves.

Stats - D200, 70-180 macro lens, ISO 100, on tripod

1 - 140mm 1/20s @ F22 & converted to b&w using a magenta filter.
2 - 180mm 1/3s @ F40 & converted to b&w, no filter.
