Spike & Roses

Thank you for the comments yesterday! It was fun to see how many other people love natural light too. You know, there have been times where I've felt guilty about my reliance on natural light, like with family portraits for my friends. But I won't anymore. Natural light is my light source of choice, no apologies. :)

Well, here are a couple more shots of the roses. I was trying to show of the color of these roses, more than anything. And the nuances in shades on the petals. I also tried to get Spike to pose with them but he wasn't having any of it. Or at least not letting on that he was interested in them much.

Stats for 1&2 - D200, 70-180 macro lens, ISO 100, on tripod, inside, early morning.

Stats for 3&4 - D200, 70-300VR lens, ISO 400, handheld, outside, late afternoon, overcast skies.
