Thanks :) The lens I'm using, the 70-300VR lens is a vibration-reduction lens. It has a built in stabilization that reduces camera shake. It's also not a heavy lens. My macro lens is solid and feels like a brick. But the VR lens is a very user friendly zoom. I just have to be careful about the shift it does when it stabilizes. It sometimes alters the composition.

Great set - very sharp. I love my VR lens too - certainly dispenses with the need for a tripod in many settings. I suspect this guy thought you were trying to feed him and couldn't work out why you didn't just hand it over.
