Morgan - The Talk

Morgan and I went to see Nancy Drew on Friday (which was cute). She started reading the books & it was fun to share something with her that her mom and I enjoyed as kids. In fact, I think that is why my sister and I are known as the Snoop Sisters!

Before the movie started, there was a commercial for the Nikon D40 which led to "The Talk". Morgan asked "Hey, you have Nikon, right?" I said yes and she asked if I had that one. I told her I had the D200 and then she asked me if mine was better. Ok, I told her yes. :P But then I told her that it was the person behind the camera that mattered. That there were great photographs made before there were cameras with all the bells and whistles.

The cool thing is that the next day when she was taking photos with my Coolpix, I could see her thinking about what she was doing and planning the shot. It is so cool to share photography with her! It's a blast to help spark someone's interest, no matter how old. :)
