Watercolor #2

2007.08.01

The backside of the flowers from yesterday's post. I thought that the under side of the flower was even more beautiful than the "top". There was a bit of sparkle too. It's hidden beauty, you might say. What else am I missing because I don't look in unexpected places? I bought "The Tao of Photography - Seeing Beyond Seeing" (recommended by sagelike31) to expand my horizons. My favorite section so far is on breaking the rules. It appeals to the rebel in me. I can't believe I used the word "rebel" in my post. Shh, don't tell Nikon. :)

chipotle the first shot, framed just the way it is, would make a beautiful front for a note card.

bolder are you shooting on a white background, or, photoshopping to a white background?

always asking me for a rear shot, and you FINALLY deliver -- you, rebel, you!
bolder · 2007-08-01: 08:17
Anonymous User repeat after me. Min - ol - ta. Great detail in the stems. Rear shots are always more interesting because they offer a different perspective

ACH365 LOL! You are a hoot. Nice pictures! I'll have to check on that book next. Sagelike31 has some darn good recommendations! I think he should start a "favorite books" list or something.
