Murder in Margaritaland

The resort paradise of Margaritaland was rocked by the murder of one its own on Saturday night. Jack Daniels, the casanova bartender, kicked the proverbial bucket just as a poolside banquet was wrapping up. Lifesavin' Sam gave a half-hearted attempt to revive him but he was a goner. The Coconuts, Joe & Jane, cooperated fully with the local authorities, as did their staff. Their guests, which included quite a few famous names, were also detained for questioning.

A little birdie told this intrepid reporter that Jack Daniels philandering ways may have been a motive. However, it is highly likely that his uncanny ability to ferret out secrets from guests who've sipped a bit too much bubbly might have placed his life in jeopardy as well.

The lists of suspects is growing. Topping the list is Starr Bright, the movie star with the floundering career who came to the island to clean up. Is more than her career on the rocks or is that really water she's drinking. Or could it be Kylie Cocktail or Izzie Islander, both of whom have caught the bartenders eye recently? Or maybe the jealous Lucky Numbers who is trying to win Izzie's heart? What about Thurston Howard III, the bajillionaire who's girlfriend was seen flirting with Jack? Last, but certainly not least, we have Sandy Beachbum. Did the surfer off his friend to hide the fact that he's no longer surfing due to his fear of jellyfish?

Luckily, Sgt Lord and his trusty deputy are on the case and are close to solving this murder mystery. Hopefully, I'll have the scoop for you tomorrow!
