Mondi has been my best friend for more than 13 years. Even though she's younger than me and never lets me forget it! :)

We have been thru so much together - heartaches, her divorce, the joy of her children, the happiness of her second marriage to Buck, the loss of loved ones, health issues for both of us, and so much laughter and fun times. I can't tell you how many hours we spent scrapping together or talking or just hanging out.

Besides my family, Mondi is the only person who knows all my darkest secrets and accepts me for who I am. She has an old, gentle soul. Though I'm older, it's always felt like she was the more mature one who watched out for me. I think because she'd been thru so much in her life before she even graduated from highschool. Yet she's always ready with a joke or a smile or an ear if you need it. Even with her gentleness (and the fact that she's short :P ), she is a force to be reckoned with. I've seen her get between two men who were about to come to blows and back them down. And at one of the worst times in my life, she was the one who made me see how much I was hurting myself and those around me.

Really, I should say that Mondi is more than my best friend, she's family. And I'm lucky she's made me a part of hers. :)

Mondi looks lovely! Friends like this are so rare and such a treasure in life...... About the photos: Did you plan it so that her dress in the 3rd shot looks like it is part of the pillar in the 4th?

1st of all I wouldn't say you are lucky.. I would say you are blessed to have such a wonderful friend/family member as Mondi!! Such a touching story and so neat to hear of friends sticking together thru anything and everything!! You both are blessed to have each other..
I am sure Spike approves of her??
