Back on the left again!

Did you notice it was on the right yesterday?

It just didn't feel right on the right.

Slowly, it creeped back over. Spike may have been pushing it.

Left is good. Life is good. :) Exploring the world in a flower is good. :)

This is supposed to be a black backdrop (it's just some foam board). Only when I got it home, I found it wasn't as black a black as I wanted or like my old one was. It's more a dark grey. I think its the way the light is reflected off it. I'm not sure if I like it. I may try painting it or sponging it to get a more textured background. Of course, I could splurge and buy a real background. But I have to buy plane tickets for my AZ vacation in October. I get the M&Ms (my nieces & nephew) for a whole week while they are on Fall Break. :) Backdrop or M&Ms? No question...M&Ms.

So why did I buy a new one? Because I stepped on the old one and cracked it! Sigh.

The third shot is spectacular!! I think that the gray backdrop works well with this flower!

Beautiful. The dark background makes the color of the flower even more vivid. The dof focus is great too.

Real background? Muslin, I think or some kind of cloth. Like these.

The watermark is a brush I created in Photoshop Elements 5. I learned how to do it from a book. I can tell you how I did it if you want to know. :)
