When Will We Be Married

The daughter of one of my co-workers is engaged to be married. They plan on getting married at the beach next summer and Jan asked me to take their engagement photos for them. Jan and I have worked together for so many years that I've know her daughter since she was little. It gave me great pleasure to photograph their love for each other.

Saturday, we drove down to Laguna Beach. It was dreary out in the Inland Empire where we live but when we got to the beach, it was gorgeous with big puffy clouds and great light. The photography gods were definitely smiling on us. AND the beach wasn't crowded at all! A very rare occurence for a Southern California beach!

They wanted b&w photos so I shot in color and then created a b&w set as well. These are some of MY favorites of the shoot.
