Today's Spike Chronicles are about play time.

Spike does not like to share and if he sees me playing with one of his toys, he immediately starts stalking me and the toy. Does he play with them by himself? Oh, NO! He only cares about defending his territory and stealing it back!

But this is a goodthing because it gives me a chance to get him off his lazy behind. Plus, he sill looks like a kitten when he plays like this and it's kind of cute. I MAY be biased about that. :)

The last shot is just a weird one that I threw in because he was doing this weird cobra snake like thing with his neck and it cracked me up. I don't even know what caught his attention.

great TSC. One of the best things about cats is they never lose their interest in play. He looks so cute playing tug-o-war with you!

Too funny! You're so right about some kittys not being interested in toys unless they are defending what is theirs! I so love your commentary, it makes me laugh. Spike is so handsome & his playful side is darn cute! And that cobra neck thing you mention, we call it the Stevie Wonder moves!! Great post.

Sheri - It's aversion therapy that makes me not hug him all the time. Like this morning, he came up to me meowing so I picked him up to give him a scratch under the chin and he bit me! That's Spike!
