In this week's Spike Chronicles, the critter cam follows the wild and elusive Spike.

Saturday, I went to Petco. Where the pets go but Spike has never been. I was NOT in there looking for a costume for Spike when I spotted some toys I thought he might like.

I bought the Boo toy (from Monday), these things called Cat Crazies (which he loves but lost all but one under the couch and refrigerator!), and a Cat Bag.

Spike likes to attack the Boo toy and he treats it like a "kill". Watching him with this toy cracks me up because I get to see the wildcat instincts come out to play. Being a city girl, it's about the only wild I get to see.

But the bag he doesn't trust. It's supposed to be cozy and inviting and comforting. But he won't get in it and curl up! He does like it when I put his toys in and he gets to "dig" them out though. And of course, he found that it makes a good pillow. :)

Still, none of these distracted him while I was shooting the corn! Sigh...

Very nice set as usual. Cats are fickle aren't they. I have lots of toys for Cody and he prefers feathers found in the garden and a nice house/bed and he wont sleep in it and when younger chose a wardrobe. Lynda · 2007-10-12: 06:01
