i was just thinking about this. i like to make my favorite photo of the day my desktop background as i browse photoblog, but, it's too bad that all the images are scaled down. maybe, you can post your favorite of the set with a link (like aniela - who's in a slump btw, non?) to the full-size, that way i can get a full-sized desktop background for a day, and, you'd have a backup too! it's win-win!!

Thanks guys. It doesn't look good right now but maybe after the holidays I'll take it somewhere else and see if they can get anything. I'm pretty sure harddrives aren't supposed to make a clanking sound. :(

WOW so sorry to hear tink bit the dust!!! maybe some guru techy can help?? What about Best Buy they have the geek squad?? Do you have a best buy out there?? Our hard drive makes all kinds of noises. I think it is due to cat fur,dog,fur and good ole country dust??? Haven't spilled a Mtn. Dew in it yet,but was close??

Huge bummer! My rule is never clear a card until I've backed up my shots. I hope you can somehow do some photo rescue. Find yourself a teenage computer geek to help you! Awesome leaf shots!!

Fantastic shots, and even better advice! I too recently lost a laptop hard disk, and although I had all of my RAW images backed up, I did manage to lose some old .jpgs that I miss dearly.
