Morgan's 10th

December 15th is Morgan's birthday. The big 10 this year.

She was born in North Carolina and I met her when she was a week old. So tiny back then. I remember rocking her in the chair in the middle of the night to give my sister a rest and marveling at our new little bundle.

I wished I had crystal ball so I could see what she'd be like as she grew. Well, the years have gone by in a blink of an eye and Morgan is smart and funny and sweet and loving. She's always been a charmer and has always been comfortable in front of the camera.

This year, she learned what it was like to be behind the camera and fell in love with it. She asked for a camera for her birthday and my mom and grandfather bought her one together. Can you tell she was thrilled?

I talked to my sister yesterday and she said she'd been going thru the photos with Morgan and so far, about half of them are of herself. But she's also learning about composition and light and doing a pretty darn good job. When I tell her something, I can see her using it in her photos.
