Oh thank god! At least I am wealthy by this measure! I too hate sometimes that the depth of my feelings, grief especially, brings me to my knees. But by the same measure I am also able to love & live with passion & intensity. I wouldn't have it any other way. Awesome words, incredible shots. Wow!! Really cool! I got my phone/computer back tonight! Woo Hoo!!

Measuring up . . .wow. Powerful post. Your photos are so PERFECT. I can't imagine that you feel that way - maybe it's human. I definitely "hear you cluckin' big duck". Wish I didn't understand.

Beautiful, strong post Lisa. I agree with Jannie, by Inge's measure I am extremely wealthy!

A Buddhist would say - better to plunge into the bad, and see what it really consists of, than to waste too much time on the good. Great post Lisa.

Nice post. Better to feel than to be like T.S. Eliot's J Alfred Prufrock who said of himself: "I have measured out my life with coffee spoons" and "I am no prophet--and here's no great matter; I have seen the moment of my greatness flicker, And I have seen the eternal Footman hold my coat, and snicker, And in short, I was afraid."

Now who would have thought measuring spoons would look so cool?? I agree it is better to risk. If I hadn't risked feeling I never would have met my awesome husband!! Great quote!!

I'm amazed at what you "feel" when you "see" with your camera! I love the simplicity of your images, your still life studio and lighting. Can I ask what your setup is?

Thanks all :) aries67 - For these two shots, I used this background system by Sharpics that I bought last month. I placed it facing a south east window for light.

excellent photos, of course. something tells me, though, that you're better measured in cups than spoons.
