Blue Monday - Orgy

Well because it's blue and it's Monday. :)

I should have posted a country song to go with this hat but instead I'm posting a bit harder version of New Order's Blue Monday. It was one of my favorite songs when I was in high school. Being a wallflower at the dances, this was one of the songs were you could dance and it didn't matter that you were dancing in a crowd. Plus, you didn't have to worry about stepping on anyone's toes. :)

And of course, it spoke to the turbulent teenager inside me...

I don't think country songs have the corner on angst!

Speaking of angst...#4 and #5 were added for Jannie. I did try to post a Cat in the Hat post but Spike was having none of it. He rolled out from under it as soon as I put it on him and then let me know exactly how he felt about it! Stripey Rotter!

I love this hat.. wow I'd love to see all who have a cowgirl in them , if we ever do a reunion (although I don't know why it would be a reunion .. anyway a gathering of friends here at photoblog.. we should all wear them..I love the words you wrote here and it's oh so true :)I like 3 Lisa .. the shadow makes it :)

#3 is perfect - that is the first blue cowboy hat I have ever seen (maybe I don't get out much??) and it is lovely.

I bought it at a Nascar race. Because it's the colors of the #48. Isn't that a totally girl thing to do? ;)

Nope, no lightbox. #2 and #3 were taken inside with my backdrop set up in front of and facing a south facing window around 2 in the afternoon so there were no shadows. #1 was outside on the balcony and I over exposed it one stop.

Great hat Lisa! I was expecting a Cat with a Hat post from you! I could just see Spike peeking out from under the last shot, tail extended on one side, and the catitude on the other!!

Being from the land of Blue & Gold (U of Michigan), I can't say I've seen this particular kind of hat at any football games! The last shot of your cat is hysterical!! Good work!

There really are only two types of hats that are appropriate to buy at a NASCAR race the one you posted which is just SUPER FANTASTIC and the kind I wear red neck ball caps!! I go for the Orange Tony Stewart color..Poor Spike always getting picked on!! :)
