Day Too Soon - Sia

It's been a long week and the weekend could not have come a day too soon!

I've been posting a lot of Sia songs lately. She has a new album that just came out called Some People Have Real Problems that I'm currently listening to non-stop. Sia used to sing for Zero7 and I think she's a little quirky but she has an amazing voice. Although...maybe it's because she's quirky that I like her music so much. A kindred spirit, uh, except for the I can't sing part. ;)

This song, Day Too Soon, feels so hopeful to me. It's one of my favorites from her new album and it makes me smile as I sing along to it...

MHJphotos Another glorious shot! For me, what makes this one magical is the wooden table that the flower is resting on. The grain is subtle, but its there. Flowers, wood, and things found in nature make a perfect composition to me.
