The good thing is, none of us here are perfect! =) However, these shots are phenomenal! I've said it before ... WOW that lens is sharp! Such amazing fine detail. #2 has a very 3D quality to it. My favorites though are your two raindrop shots. I'd really like to know exactly how you did these. They're absolutely gorgeous, and I saved #4. The lighting, the vibrancy, just fantastic! Mat P.S. Yes, F40 is right. 1/2 sec @ F40. It was with my 70-180 macro lens. :) Thanks everyone!

These are amazing! I didn't even know what it was at first. I like that. It made me think and keep going down the pix until I could see it. Patty said you add spice. Now we just need to give you a name. Sometimes - Angry Spice, sometimes - Nutty Spice. my pick for you would be Smarty Spice. : -)

#3 is spectacular!! i really really love the color and the shimmer of it. great set of blues - such a pretty color! and i'm glad you kept up yesterday's post too - because i definitely have those days and i feel like i want to post something about it but not sure how people would react - so now i see that other people feel the same and that it IS okay because everyone here is so supportive and understanding :-)

i write poetry for myself to sort out my feelings. it's very cathartic to me. and i do it every now and then with photography, but not to the same degree because, for me, photography is largely about making sense of the world about me. any sort of creative vehicle that you use, though, to sift through your feelings is a gift. regardless of whether the feelings are red or blue.
