TSC - My Shadow

This week's Spike Chronicles show the lovable side of Spike...

When I come home from work, Spike is always waiting for me in the window. And by the time I make it up the stairs to the door, he's there waiting to greet me. And then Spike follows me around from room to room. He meows at me and sits at my feet while I go thru mail, put groceries away, etc.

I think it's because he misses me. :) I can tell because he sticks to me like glue and he's always looking up at me with adoring eyes. I pretty sure he's trying to tell me how his day went and wants to know about my day. So I tell him all the stuff that went on at work and he just sits there and listens patiently.

Finally, when I sit on my bed to take off my shoes, he jumps up and sits next to me and then leans over and rests his head on my arm. I always think "THIS is why I have a cat". :) And then I give him a pat on the head and get up to make his dinner and mine.

Isn't he sweet? :P
