Doesn't MY chair look comfy?

No, you can't sit in it. It's mine!

Sheesh, just because she pays the rent around here, she thinks she's special or something. People!

Every king has his throne!

Hold on, I think someone's coming. Don't bother me while I'm working.

This week's Spike Chronicles feature Spike and his beloved chair.

No one is allowed to sit in his chair. It's his and his alone. He's not very good at sharing, you see.

But his chair also plays an important part in his guard cat duties. It's right next to the front door so he can listen for anyone coming up the stairs. He's kind of an early warning system.

Most of all, I think he likes to be near the front door so he won't miss any opportunities for escape.

Um, he has fallen off it a time or two when he's been a little too comfortable, but I'm not supposed to talk about that!

Take care of yourself Lisa! I love this! I get swooped by my kittys too if I make the stupid move of getting up for a sec leaving a nice warm seat!! It's so funny how territorial they are! Spike looks like he owns the place. And he does!

Lol this is so much like my Moto - he has his possie, and he'll protect it at all costs. It's the top of the lounge. He gets most annoyed if someone sits near him!
I love your shots of Spike, and the little commentary, it's so lovely. #4 is the fave for me in this set - I love the perspective you've taken, and his expression. He truly is a king :)

I wouldnt even want to attempt to mess with Spike He looks like he means business. Best just to back away slowly and avoid eye contact I think....After all, it is HIS spot!! As per usual, lovely job with he handsome boy. He sure is photogenic.

Seems the whatever sickness is still going around! great Spike post! He is one great model adn I think he knows it! Hope you recover soon and are back on your feet soon.
