Lisa, these are just gorgeous! The use of black and white doesn't need to be justified, it suits Spike perfectly for all the reasons you have given. Shows off the contrast in his stripes and the character in his face. I'm sure Spike really needs to be told more how adorable he is too! :P Make sure you tell him from me :)

B&W does Spike well!! he is one handsome Dude! Glad to see the master of posing back in his usual poor me and give me poses!! My cat has orange around his eyes. So I shoot him in color. Hope you are feeling better and better everyday!!

Awwww, I love the stripey rotter! He does look so handsome in his B&W! Oh boy, a whole week of Spike! Yippee! Does he also use the weapon of "I'm not paying any attention to you" and then when you turn your back WHOOSH, he's into something he's not supposed to be in to?

Spike, I checked this after Tuesday's photos. You are gorgeous and Lisa does such a wonderful job of capturing your expressions. Send the first photo in to a modeling agency—such expression and clarity. By the way I adore your whiskers.
