it happens to be missunderstood or ignored or insulted: that doesn't mean you are not a nice human being. Again, it's matter of sensitivity and intuition. After all those tacos were great and your family didn't hurt you :)

People should respect your wishes and not inflict on you what they think is fun. You were right to feel annoyed but also you have to work with these people so diplomacy works well for the future. Don't think they'll make that mistake again!

I don't think it is a bad thing to be 'witchy' sometimes, the world doesn't pay off for the Mr/Mrs-do-it-all-good-all-the-time!! Besides there are always good witches, right? I don't think they should have done that, but it's already done.... let it go, and now on demand all the r-e-s-p-e-c-t you deserve!:) Oh Lisa, and don't erase the inner witch, she's needed every now and then!!!=)

Sorry to be late to congratulate(oops did i spell that right?) you with your birthday. I never celebrate mine, hate that! So i can understand your reaction perfectly. I think we have to much "have to do's" in our lives. Its your live and they should respect that. I love that second shot btw:-)

I think sometimes we are too controlled or taught to be too controlled because it is the proper thing to do .. and LIE that we like something just to be polite.. that is not REAL.. I for one am working on breaking out of that but I am learning.. anyway I think there are too sides to this (I think) .. I think they were probally well meaning even if they did not listen to you .. some people don't know no means no .. .. on the other hand I think you have EVERY right to have your birthday the way you want to .. and SAY so.. if they put alot of work into it ..that was for them not you since you said you did not want it.. yet you have to learn to blow it all off. speak your mind then go on and see the good & bad... I think your're great .. I know we ALL and I mean ALL have our bad moments or bad tempers or something and there is not one perfect one among us ... not even among the broom loving crowd you work with .. HUGS!!! LISA & kudos to you for being real ...that takes guts!!!:)

Well I say screw your co-workers. If you never socialize with them outside of work, then they are just your co-workers, not your friends.Just because they spend more time with you doesn't mean they know you. So I'm happy for you that you had a good birthday dinner with those you truly love you. That's what really counts!!

I'm sorry you were misunderstood. I bet they thought it was all in fun but sometimes other people don't get that *some* of us mean what we say and say what we mean.
