This is from the same bunch that I picked up on Saturday, still working with the white background. When I saw kangshung's comment on Sunday about how "Frosted" might look with a black background, I had to squelch the urge to pull it out and shoot the flowers over again with black. But no, I'd decided on white and white I did. Let's call it immersion therapy. :)
Anyway, these flowers made me think of a watercolor painting with the subtle swirls and fades of color. No, Spike didn't munch on them. I think he was in awe of their beauty too.
Stats - D200 w 70-180 Macro lens, ISO 100 w/ natural light.
1 - 70mm 1/30s @ F22
2 - 180mm 1/10s @ F40
3 - 180mm 1/8s @ F40
I was going for maximum dof on these. Probably overkill but since I was using my tripod, why not. :)
