These are from the Barrel Races at the Los Angeles County Fair. Although they were only out there for 16/17 seconds at a time, it was easier to catch them because the arena was smaller and they raced in a set pattern. It got so that I was anticipating them at the barrels. Gotta love my 70-300 VR lens, it performed like a trooper! This is where I took the most photos during the day. I could have easily blown thru my memory card here but I tried to hold back. Still, I'm sure I have a few more days worth! :)
These were taken at ISO 400 and all were F10-F13 and 1/350s thru 1/640s.
P.S. Yesterday's shots were about the same as far as aperture and shutter speed, only the ISO was 800.
