I shoot mostly digital now, after being anti digital most of my photographer life. I miss the feel of film but I love the freedom I have now to shoot in B&W. I use a Nikon D200 and I love it. I feel most whole with my camera in my hand.

eljapa Thanks so much for the tip!, i had to search it again on my computer and found the tiffen software again version v1.0? Found the promist filter already so gonna try it on some portraits i've got. I do have a question about Tiffen. (hope you do not mind). I remember the reason for not using it. The preview on the center on the screen after applying a filter looks really bad, so i save it, check it on different viewer and try it again?? Am i missing something?

Thanks in advance!

It's very hard for me to look at abstract art because my mind is always trying to arrange things logically. :) Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's frustrating. I love #2. It has wonderful curves and light. I don't know what it is, but I like it!
hehehe it's a giant mouth-like sculpture - a conceptual piece down at the docks - I think it's meant to be representative of the ports.. LOL
I agree completely - I too struggle between my logical and illogical brain, which is why I happily admit it annoys me sometimes - but I like the fact that it annoys me. Go figure! lol

I get those feelings from the photos in this post. Life can't always be delightful, but it would be nice if the scales tipped heavily in that direction, eh?
hehehehe yes, it would! your words articulate it perfectly, Lisa :D

Your April mix was fun to scroll thru. I'm sure it will come as no surprise to you that my favorite was the little cuties in #11. I also love the tones and lines in #10 and #5.

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I hope you are doing better. I'm...
Thank you Lisa! :)
hehehe yes, they are such posers! Glad you liked that shot ;)
And yes, I get results tomorrow, so thank you :)

Great views of Paris. #4 is my favorite as well. Are we looking up from inside the arc in #5?
Yep, taken from the ground looking up.

45s were great fun. My sister and I spent a lot of Saturdays playing our parents collection. I wonder what happened to them all. I see why you like DWTS now, too. :)

Great post, Patty!
; )) I'm a true dork with an amazing dancer trapped inside!! ; )
