We seem to have lost our camera cord?! It has not turned up and I think we will have to go out and buy a new one. Of course Dad and Amber both have their own cameras, but they don't have the same type of cord! Besides oversleeping, almost missing our plane, the windstorm and power outages in Ohio, and our missing luggage, the trip went well! LOL! The Canine Companions was wonderful. Austin got to take the leash on three different dogs. They were all labs. We got to see them pick up drop objects, turn lights on and off, open doors, walk along with the wheelchair, and "visit" on Austin's lap. We just got the official letter yesterday that we are accepted onto the waiting list. The wait is about 1-1/2 years. Then we will go for a 2-week training. Hooray Austin. We do have pictures of the plane and motel to post, but we must have been too excited to take pictures of the dogs...we forgot! But we will post the other pictures as soon as we get a new cord!

We understand!!! We lost our card reader and had to buy another one so that we could post pictures! Sounds like a wonderful trip to Ohio..... despite the oversleeping, windstorm, power outages and lost luggage. Can't wait until you have a new companion!!

Sounds like quite a trip, in more ways than one! Glad it was a successful one. Labs are wonderful dogs, but I don't think we could ever get ours to do all of those things. Glad you're back home safe and sound.

Christy has a dog. You get one, too. Mom: His former OT had a working dog. Britton connected you with her dog immediately. I'm happy for you, Austin. The dog will be a big help to you.
