A rare orchid at Kew Gardens in London that blooms once every 120 years and was nice enough to do so while we were on holiday there a few years back. My wife to the right, on the other hand, blooms every day.

This wonderful tree is to be found in a park in Palermo. It really invites you to clamber into one of it's crevices and build a nest there.

I've started scanning in some of my old colour negatives and since I didn't manage to take any new pictures today I post these old shots to inspire awe .
