You are right... and Revenant, too. I experienced Provence with its gorgeous light and sky that I love so much for 6 months: no mountains, but hills there... After spending only one week in Alps I felt "suffocated" from close high mountains (and cold and snow) and I broke down :-( I decided to be back to a sweet diversified landscape (Tuscany) and warm temperature...
