This probably only interesting for owners of the Panasonic Lumix LX5. I installed the new firmware update and was pleasantly surprised. The AF speed is astonishing and image noise correction has been vastly improved. The above picture was taken, hand-held at 1/10 th of a second at 1600 iso. Before the update it would have looked like pea soup. The second image is a 100% crop.

Firmware 2.0 really helped improve an already fantastic camera. I rarely go over ISO 800, but it's nice to know I can take it higher. What I love, and a feature I'm dying to try in the real world is the 250 second shooting in manual exposure! ALso, the Miniature effect is pretty cool.
