Assessing the damage after landing.

The rock knocked a hole in the fabric and also sheared the bolt holding the support wires for the horizontal stabilizer.

Flew with Zac Steiner today. We touched down on a strip with big rock and I felt what I thought was a rock hitting the tail wheel. We continued on not thinking much about it. Zack was looking around for photo opportunities when he asks me if we are supposed to have a hole in our horizontal stabilizer.......

I slowed the plane to 60 mph and we landed back at Soldotna without incident.
