PADAUK PANN – INYA ROAD – 2008 FASHION

2008.04.15
The folklores say, If you don't see PADAUK FLOWER, we don't call it THINGYAN. Yes, people from those days believe that PADAUK opens the New Year season. The flowers normally blooms a week ahead of festival days. Due to abnormal weather changes this year, we see PADAUK only today, the 3rd day of the festival.

This yellowish flowers used to overwhelm the whole city. But nowadays, you rarely see them. To see, you have to go and find it. It does not bloom in vast anymore, for which I would say "the symptom of metropolitan life".

This PADAUK tree is located right at the junction of IN-SEIN Road and THA-MINE Road. I went along couples of miles just to get this shot. Finally, this yellowish thing makes me SMILE.

This shot is dedicated to those who are longing to see INYA ROAD. Do you think I can squeeze in2 the crowd? No wayz. Even if I got in, I won't be able to find way out. Hundreds of thousands of people there.

Have you ever heard of a saying, "a picture says a thousand words"? Yes, the saying simply coincides with this shot.

Do you see many cars making their turn back?? Yub, I was one of them. Lolx.

Is she drunk? Or hold back?

I'm not a girl, not yet a woman. Still enjoy THINGYAN with full festive mood. Yea??

Ma Ma Gyi (Big Lady) shagging with her shorties. People here, old or young, rich or poor, ugly or handsome… we all celebrate together. That's called NATIONAL SPIRIT.

You have any comment for this shot?? I know you guys simply love seeing such things.

Yea. This is for you guys!! A band of FAGGOTS rocking on a JEEP. How is that sound?? It's nah discrimination yea?? Let me confess. I hate FAGGOTS.

Dancing Mood plus Myanmar Beer. A perfect companion??

Girls here love wearing socking. But how come this one wears HAND SOCKING?? Neva heard of it b4. Is she an ultimate trend-setter??

A snapshot of 2 little girls on a LiteAce.

Rhianna? No wayz. Not Rhianna, but Banana. ROFL (Rolling On Floor Laughing)

3 gals curiously looking something. Girls here become quite trendy in terms of outfits. But when they wear make-up, why do they need to apply like 1cm thick??

Once they arrive in front of MANN DUTT (Station), they have hundreds of things to hold >> sunglasses, their hair, towels, their boobs, their butt and the likes. Then why don't they stay home?? LOL.

She is wearing yellow color jacket, huh?? What if she wears a bunch of PADAUK FLOWER on her head?? This year, I rarely see girls wearing PADAUK FLOWER. In fact, PADAUK is PRIDE and ELEGANCE of typical Burmese girls.

Don't you think they become DARKER?? Of coz!! How many hours you normally spend for a sunbath?? 2 hours?? 3 hours?? Well, these people spend about 10 hours taking sunbath at the temperature of 41. Can you believe that??

Yea. I have been longing to have such shot. That's 2008 THINGYAN HAIR STYLE. They paid couples of thousands to do that. Don't know how to call it in English. Poor me!!

A guy sitting beside the girl looks quite WEIRD. He thinks he's on HEAVEN or what?? Seeing the girl delightedly??

Yea!! That's what I hate about THINGYAN. What would he do when he get drunk?? Look for troubles?? If so, people put him in jail. Any benefits for him??

People:

Thanks heaps for your comments on my previous set, THINGYAN YAY. Because of these, I have decided to go for another set about THINGYAN. Actually, I've planned to kick off another post from TVY trip today. But some of my friends once again pushed me to go INYA ROAD, the most swarming place in town with hundreds of MANN DUTT (Stations). So, I moved my ass and headed there around 1:00PM. Imagine the outside temperature in noon. Simply smoldering!! Then why did I choose to go there at 1:00?? Of course to shun appalling traffic on PYAY ROAD.

PADAUK PANN on IN-SEIN Road
I haven’t seen PADAUK PANN (a symbolic flower of SUMMER and NEW YEAR in Myanmar) this year. I was really yearning to smell PADAUK. Just before I went INYA ROAD, one of my friends called and informed me that he saw lots of PADAUK flowers along IN-SEIN road. Do you think I would keep myself silent? No wayz!! I went there and grabbed some stunning pictures of PADAUK. I was satisfied!!

WAY TO INYA Road
I have nothing much special to say. Just have a look at Picture (4), (5) and (6). Then you have my answer and apology. I have taken those shots from University Avenue Road. Thousands of cars are squeezing themselves into the motionless traffic. I became quite Retarded, seriously!!

THINGYAN FASHION
Since my MISSION for INYA ROAD had been dropped, I did try something for my friends who love my arts. THINGYAN FASHION!! The outfits they wear, the hairstyles they produced, and the make-up they put on. I believe you will be happy with this.

Here's another THINGYAN set for you. PADAUK PANN – INYA ROAD – 2008 FASHION.

P.S. All pictures are SHOT on 14th APR 2008.
