A lady offering SOON (meal) to the abbot (senior monk). People from those areas pay high respect to monks. They offer these donations every single day (365 days a year). Do you think these people are rich? Not at all. Yet, they still transforming their savings to these donations.

When receiving the donation, the MONK cannot see LEFT and RIGHT. He needs to see downward. And he cannot put on any FOOTWEAR along the way. According to the teachings of LORD BUDDHA, only meals receive in this way is regimented.

This time is something related to religion. I have got these shots on my way to PHYAR PONE (a district town in Irrawaddy Division). I was driving and saw a group of monks (including novices) walking along the road to receive LUNCH (SOON) DONATIONS. Once I saw, it made me really impressed and I decided to park on the hard shoulder of the road. Then I took out my camera and grabbed these shots. Though the quality of the pictures is not superb, it is something to share you HOW MUCH RURAL PEOPLE PAY RESPECT TO THE RELIGION THEY BELIEVE.
