This sort of cart does make sense where the goods are not being transported great distances, and the roads are flat. We might be seeing more of them again as oil becomes more expensive! Some clever post processing in the second photo!

This are people we should respect. I also have the habit of re-working on the same picture again and again. I think the impact of the effect would be stronger on the first photo but I also like the second photo.

It does make some sense as a way to transport certain things. It also looks like a hard way to earn a living, but then most heavy manual labor is. I like the selective color.... like leocheung, I think it might work nicely on the first shot with the entire man being color, thus drawing attention to his person.
