Extravagantly Artistic

2008.08.29
This is just a small flower of my thumb size. I used my VR lens to its end 200mm to create this shot. Lemme name it THE EMPRESS… because I saw no flower around. The one and the only flower rising on a big plot of greenish grass… [ENLARGE FOR SUPERIOR QUALITY]

I have no idea how to call this flower in English. In Burmese, we call it PONE NA YEIK flower. Comes in different color and bloom in vast. I exploited focal B ‘n’ W effect and make it a bit more appealing. I guess you love this… [PLEASE ENLARGE!!]

Friends:

My blog has been frenzied with Rural Lives and Expressions. So I need some different tastes lately. I had a quick flash back to my previous posts on my blog and found a bite of tasty food for my soul. That’s my post back on 27th of March 2008 called FLOWER ART. I had a series of delightfully composed flower shots. My soul demands something outperforming for this weekend. So I have zooked out for my macro shots in my hard disk. Finally stuck up with these 2 shots I had in my uncle’s house. Enjoy your weekend with these fine-looking flowers…

Copdawoot I do love the 2nd .. the focal b&w really draws you into the centre of the image .. :)

ppierrot very beautiful. the idea from the second one is great. it's like..life starts from the center of the flower and i'm expecting for the whole pic to get colored.i like it very much.

Daryl Both are great... Some flowers really are quite vain it seems. But I like the tranquility of the second one.
