So they say this is a really bad storm and that people are dying and all... and excuse my insensitivity... but this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The last snow storm we had, I didn't actually see any of the snow falling since it all came down at night while I was sleeping; so as I drove to work this morning and was surrounded by these delicately intricate tiny pieces, it was difficult for me to concentrate on driving instead of staring at each piece that stuck to the widshield.
To all my Texas people: you know how in elementary the teacher makes you take a piece of paper and fold it a bunch of times and then cut little pieces off and then when you open it they're like, "This is what a snowflake looks like"... it's true. It took me this long to find out but each one of those tiny little pieces is AMAZING!! I know I sound like I'm 3 years old. Wow, I don't care. God is an artist... He is amazing.
P.S. Happy birthday to MIRNA!!! I love you, sis!
