I couldn't let a pretty day like this go by without stepping out of my office. I took a long lunch and went to Forest Park, which is really just down the street from my job, and sat by this lake or pond or whatever it is and read this book which I'm trying to finish... a little duck and plenty of flowers kept me company =)

I took these pictures with the camera on my phone since I left my real camera in the car and I was too lazy to walk back to get it. So they're kind of crappy but you get the idea. The ground was so moist from the rain this weekend that my heels kept sinking into it and at the end had chunks of mud and grass stuck on them.
