Currently reading: A Cafecito Story by Julia Alvarez
A quick note on the last book I read (Caramelo by Sandra Cisneros)... it had been a long time since a book moved me to tears, and this book did it- several times! Maybe you have to be Mexican to really appreciate it, but the characters and the relationships between them reminded me of so many people in my life. The narration was absolutely amazing. You MUST read it. Or not... but whatever, your loss.
