Marriage is such a strange concept, I think sometimes. You kind of put a hold on your own ambitions and plans because this other person is now in your life and you have to make sure "my" plans are what's best for "us" now. You can be considered selfish for pursuing something you want to do, when doing the exact same thing out of wedlock would not seem selfish at all. You may take a different career path or accept a different philosophy of life because of the "us" factor; because you are no longer "you". This is hard! Especially for a firstborn, strong-headed, been-independent-and-paid-my-own-bills-already kinda girl like me!

Love is amazing, though. I'm sorry I'm difficult sometimes, Benito! But you know you love me ;)

Yessi, I totally understand you. I'm also the oldest and left home when I was 15 years old to keep going with school. I managed my time, money, EVERYTHING. And now that I am married, sometimes, I still want to do the same as before but I won't just because I know that I have to think about our goals and not only mine.
