And now we head home.

I'm so thankful for the time I spent with my family. So many things change in life; there are so many inconsistencies, so many unanswered questions and uncertain paths... but when I'm with my family, I feel complete.

Bringing Ben into the loud, rowdy, often dramatized mixture of personalities that is my family has not been easy, I must admit, but adding him has made my family relationships all the more rich and fulfilling in many ways. He still doesn't understand a lot of what we consider normal, but then again, I don't know how anyone could, really.

We'll be home tonight. My heart is full of joy, my mind renewed with wonderful memories, and my soul encouraged. This is going to be a good year.
