A carbon footprint is a "measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced", - Did you not know I work for an environmental charity! trying to get people to go green! And when you fly then the idea is that you offset your carbons by helping more forests grow - or other things that balance out what you have used up. Actually its very common parlance over here and maybe its one of those things that has a different expression in the USA? Anyway I hope the job is going well - all the very best Robert |
