Mountain Train

2007.04.29

This is the Heber Valley Railroad. It is over 100 years old. Until the early 70's it hauled farm supplies and the like from Provo. It is now owned by the State of Utah and is a passenger excursion train taking people on various rides through our town of Heber, around Deer Creek Reservour and down Provo Canyon. They have murder mystery trains, dinner trains, hoe down trains and more. It used to be called the Heber Creeper.

mybigbackyard The sepia of the 3rd shot really adds to the old-fashioned train theme. I like the primary colors of #4, too.

MidsummerSilence my son LOVES trains... so I'm sure we'll be getting some good photos of them up this summer. I really find this inspiring for my future endeavors.
