Short-eared Owl on Snow Day

I looked hard around where a short-eared owl (Asio flammeus) had settled. I found the bird looking round nervously on a wood stake. I approached by car as a kind of blinds, little by little. The snow was severely falling down, even getting to lie on the face of bird. Just when I came to worry that it would become unable to see anything at this rate, the owl shivered itself and took off.
