I took a day-off on Monday to make a short trip, from 3/8/2008 (Sat) to 3/10/2008(Mon). My destination was Shirakami. I am leaving Itami Airport for Odate-Noshiro Airport by flight. The weather was fine. The mountains of Central Japan were below me. Mt. Fuji floated on the horizon, which looked so small.

Shirakami mountain range is rich in primeval forest mainly composed of beech. It is registered as World Heritage.
