A long time ago, a senior friend had showed me a photo of Monotropastrum humile. I miss imaged that it could grow in deep mountain or deep valley unnoticed by all, which would be very rare. In my recent image, it is familiar plant in coppice forest. Perhaps, I just concentrated on top branches to find birds too much to pay attention to around my foot.

(From tranlator)
It is called "silver dragon" or "ghost mushroom" in Japanese. I personally think "ghost mushroom" is more fit, while "silver draron" is more common.
