Dinner with Peishan at Amavi, a pretty restaurant at history downtown Santa Fe serving French, Italian and Spanish cuisines.


Diver scallops, shrimps and mussels with caramelized onoins. Absolutely love the scallops. Hah, though I was not very pleased that the restaurant charged us the split-plate fee without first checking whether we wanted them to do so.

Prosciutto-wrapped veal tenderloin with garlic risotto. The veal was nice and tender, though I found the risotto a tad too moist and soft.

Bitersweet chocolate and almond praline with alameda cream sherry caramel. I really like this dessert, though I thought that it would do just fine without the chocolate.
