From the balcony
2008.08.11
It's been a while since I last uploaded photos. There haven't really been any entertaining events or happenings since my roadtrip. I have been staying at home quite a bit, trying to study and watching lots of trashy mediacorp tv programmes. So, in comparison to whatever there are at home, the scenes from my balcony are probably more interesting.

We have been having lots of cravings for Singapore food lately (probably a side effect of watching too many singapore dramas), so I made orh luak (oyster omelette) a few days ago :) It was better than my first attempt. At least the glooey flour mixture was edible ;D

Pretty ceviche from Olea, a mediterranean restaurant. I was rather pleased with the amount of seafood - lots of fish, shrimps and scallops, though I felt that the sauce was a bit too sour. Quite a disappointment since the review I read said that the ceviche was supposedly one of the best in Dallas....

Yummy artichoke and italian sausage pizza from Parma Pasta and Pizza at Lewisville. That two slices of pizza plus house salad only cost $6! Indeed, the restaurant offers pretty awesome lunch deals. Certainly a place we will frequent, especially when we are in the area to watch movie at the $1 cinema :D
