Finally, Macaroons!

Yeah! I finally made some macaroons that actually look like macaroons, and not cookies :) Thanks to Nancy, I now know the difference between folding and mixing the mixture. Well, the macaroons do not look perfect. I still have to work on my piping. But, at least this is a major improvement from the last batch :D

This batch actually looks better than the almond ones, but the oven was too hot, cracks started to appear :(

On a separate not, the char siew I made for dinner yesterday. It tasted fine, I think, but I definitely need to get fattier meat. Hah, the lean meat char siew is a bit tough.
