View of the Lion's head from on top of Table Mountain... to the right of the picture is the densely populated housing estates where most of the middle to higher earning Cape Tonians calls home... the island at the top of the picture, slightly to the right, is the Robben Island where President Nelson Mandela and others (mostly South Africans) were once held in tight security... their crime/s?

On top of Table Mountain... my wife heading towards the building which houses a souvenir and coffee shops... items in both shops selling at reasonable price taking into consideration its location... cold clothings is advised due to the unpredictable weather especially when the place is shrouded by clouds as pictured in this photo..

The rotating cable car that will take visitors to the top of Table Mountain in less than 5 minutes... one car can comfortably houses between 15-20 persons/ trip... however, in the case of extremely windy condition or thunder clouds hovering above the mountain, cable car operation is temporarily stopped for safety purposes.

Where the African continent meets the Atlantic and Indian oceans... photo taken from atop the Table Mountain... the normally hot vs. cold sea currents from the Indian and Atlantic oceans respectively, draws many sea creatures to this part of the world which explains daily bountiful harvest for Cape Town's sea-going citizens... the unique ocean's temperature also prompts the ocean's largest and most famous predator, the Great White Shark, to make Cape Town's water its playing ground... the numbers are so high prompting one tour operator to offer a 'confirm' Great White sighting trip to the sea OR the second trip for free...
