i roomed one year with a girl from tehran iran at college in illinois. we were both young girls then. 1974-75. her name was myram morshed...not sure on the spelling...it was a long time ago. i only learned how to say two things in farsi, "how are you" and "fine". she was beautiful. i remember that her family would send her pistachios.
