The Shrine

Here is the lobster shrine in color, which might be more interesting. If you look closely, you can find the "other" in this sculpture. Are there bats at the top of the window? There is in this a whole new dimension to recycling. I think it's cool. I wouldn't do it at my home. My budget and my cholesterol level would not allow me to eat as many critters. For that matter, I still haven't gotten over the guilt I had for ordering and then killing one at the Red Lobster restaurant. Mia culpa. My share of that bill was $60. Considering that, less the two glasses of wine, can you imagine what this sculpture would cost to replicate?

This has an even higher shock factor than the black-and-white version. Not sure if the pile is growing -- the shells at the top look fresher and not as faded.
