I am a formally trained painter and photographer and recently started blogging on a formal blogging site (photoschooldropout.com). I have been stuck in photoshop compositing for a long while. Photographic collage feels like painting to me, but in the end, I'm spending too much time indoors with it. I have been trying to sell fine art photography, which is subjective and challenging. Marketing and all of the energy that goes into making a business has been pulling me away from the enjoyment of photography, so I welcome the opportunity to get out, shoot and tell a little bit of a story with it.
